Hon. Pedro Nwankwo Praises Unity at Awgu PDP Meeting

Awgu, May 17, 2024 

At an extraordinary PDP Local Government meeting, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo, the immediate past Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Council, delivered a speech emphasizing gratitude and unity. He thanked Ndi Awgu for allowing him to serve two terms and praised their unity, which led to a 100% victory in the recent general elections. This success included electing the Governor, two National Assembly members, and two State House of Assembly members from the PDP.

Hon. Pedro urged continued support for Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah and the PDP, aiming for greater achievements.

The meeting was moderated by Hon. Okay Nathan Udeh, the Awgu Local Government Council Chairman, who thanked attendees and encouraged active support for PDP activities and Governor Mbah's administration.

Dignitaries in attendance included the Honourable Commissioner for Housing, Dr. Martin Chukwunweike, House of Assembly members Rt. Hon. Chief Mrs. Jane Eneh and Hon. Anthony Nwankwo, former Permanent Secretary Hon. Barr. Eze O. Eze Ebekuo, Professor Godwin Uduhele, development center administrators, and various party stakeholders.

Financial support from stakeholders like Rt. Hon. Barr. Toby Okechukwu, the former Council Chairman, Hon
 Pedro Nwankwo and many others facilitated transportation for party members.

The meeting concluded successfully, highlighting the PDP's commitment to "Power to the People."
