MAY DAY 2023: AWGU LGA CHAIRMAN EXTENDS HIS NEW MONTH GREETINGS TO NDI AWGU, CELEBRATES WITH WORKERS IN COMMEMORATION OF WORKER'S DAY.

As we welcome the month of May, I want to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to everyone in Awgu Local Government and our dear State. May this new month bring us renewed hope, joy, and prosperity.

Today, we also celebrate Workers' Day, a day to recognize the tireless efforts and sacrifices of our workers, who have helped build our economy and make our communities strong and resilient.

As we commemorate this day, I urge everyone to take a moment to reflect on the importance of the work that we do and the impact it has on our society. Let us renew our commitment to building a better future for ourselves and our children by working together to achieve our common goals.

As your humble servant, I remain committed to the welfare and infrastructure development of our Local Government. I understand the importance of creating an environment that fosters growth, progress, and well-being for all Ndi Awgu.

Just like we have been doing, we will continue to roll out a number of initiatives and projects aimed at improving the quality of life in our community. These include the construction and rehabilitation of roads, provision of basic amenities, and empowerment programs to support the economic growth of our people.

Once again, I wish you all a happy and fruitful month of May. Let us continue to work together in peace, unity, and progress.

Thank you.

Signed

Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo (Eze-omeogo)

(Chairman, Awgu Local Government Area)
