 ```On the 31st of July, 2020 the Capacity SSA to the Chairman of Awgu Local Government who also doubled as the President of the Avalanche Students Association, Awgu Local Government Area Students Association (ALGASA), Comr. Obinta Juliet had a meeting with All Awgu Students Leaders and past leaders across all Campuses in Nigeria and Communities in Awgu.

Comr. Obinta Juliet during his preamble explained in details on the essence of the meeting, the Program She want to embark on as SSA to the chairman and also the Annual Program ALGASA wants to embark on for proper deliberation for a better way forward. 

The meeting was derived out of the need to have a formidable Students Voice in Awgu. It is on record that nothing of such has happened in Awgu in the time past.

The Secretary to the Local Government Hon. Linus Maduka who represented the Chairman in the Meeting informed that the Chairman has a lot of activities for the students of Awgu Local Government, He further Admonished the group to keep it up just like we have ATUA and NAMS in Awgu.

The Deputy Mayor, Hon Barr. Lotanna who also graced the occasion expressed His happiness in seeing Awgu Student Leaders together like this and advised that they  keep it up in extending their leadership from their various schools to Awgu where each of them hail from.

Comr. Juliet Obinta thanked those who made it to the meeting and advised them to take the messages to their respective community, She also thanked the SLG and D' Mayor who were in the meeting for finding it worthy to attend and also the Chairman Awgu Local Government, Hon Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo for giving the students a voice in His Government and appointing students as Aides.

Some of the students led group that attended the meeting includes,
Awgu Town Undergraduates Association, National Association of Mgbowo Students Worldwide, Mmaku Students Union, Affam-Ogboli Graduate and Undergraduates Association etc.
