AWGU LOCAL GOV'T IN FOCUS *IN READINESS BEFORE RESUMPTION OF SCHOOLS AFTER COVID-19 LOCKDOWN!* Day 1





It is the intention of the *Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Gov't Area, Hon. Pedro OKWUDỊLỊ NWANKWỌ "Eze Ome-ogo,"* to make thorough findings in all the sectors/Departments in Awgu LG in order to understand what is/was happening in the sectors/Departments/agencies of government and to be able to know where and how his government can channel resources to forestall some of the identifiable challenges these sectors are encountering.



Having completed Health Inspection tour, Hon. Pedro OKWUDỊLỊ NWANKWỌ, charged the Supervisor for Education/Youths/Sports & Rural Development, Hon. Reuben Nwabueze Nwonwu; Jeff Ojieze-Nwachineke, Education Consultant/Education Secretary Awgu Local Government Area; and the Media/Publicity Department on an inspection tour round all the Primary Schools in Awgu Local Gov't Area. 














While he was addressing the team of Inspectors before the outing, he, Eze Ome-ogo, made it clear that this Inspection exercise is important in that it will offer the council the opportunity to be ready before school resumption and also to tackle some of the immediate challenges schools are having.

Some of the schools visited today were: 
▪️Central School Ugwueme
▪️Community School Ugwueme
▪️Onoli Community School (Awgu)
▪️Unity Primary School Amofia (Awgu)

Worthy of special mention is the SA Media and Publicity to Hon. Pedro OKWUDỊLỊ NWANKWỌ, Comr. Dona Okolie-uwa, a very dedicated and committed gentleman who is ready to make this administration to succeed.

Eze Ome-ogo is ready for meaningful transformation in Awgu Local Gov't Area.
