AWGU LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN, HON. PEDRO OKWUDILI NWANKWO (EZE OME-OGO) BEGINS A TOUR IN ALL THE PRIMARY HEALTH CENTERS IN AWGU LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR IMMEDIATE UPGRADE. 7/7/2020




There are some dilapidated, ill-equipped community health centers across Awgu Local Government where residents go to access healthcare for lack of better alternatives. 

Awgu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo (Eze Ome-Ogo) who was ably represented by Supervisor for Health Awgu Local Government, Hon. Nkiru Okafor alongside Head of the Department, Chief. Chuka Eze, Cold chain officer Awgu LG, Egbo Clementina visited three health centers today, Ndiagu-Ogboli Community Health Center Awgu, Ugwuleshi Community Health Center, Mother and Child Health (MCH) Awgu for immediate reinforcement of new equipments in the Health Centers across Awgu LGA. 

The tour continues until  all the health centers in Awgu are inspected. 

However the structures of some of the health centres is in a state of disrepair. While the ceilings and windows are in dire need of attention to prevent them from falling off. 







The people's Mayor, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo (Eze Ome-Ogo) said that 
"We have started with the rehabilitation of all the Community Health Centers in Awgu as well as provision of equipment and drugs to some Health Centers in Awgu for adequate functioning of the health centers".
