AWGU LG HEALTH-CARE CENTERS INSPECTION 15, July, 2020 Day 5





The inspection tour to all the Health Centers in Awgu Local Gov't Council continues, as we visited the hinterlands of Nenwenta and Ugwueme.

The Inspection team led by the Council Supervisor for Health, Hon. Nkiru Okafor, includes the HOD Health Awgu LG, Dr Chuka Eze, Cold Chain Officer Awgu LG, Mrs Clementina Egbo, Chief Elvis Chris (Ochubaluagu), among others.

The effect of the "Health is Wealth" policy of Hon Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo (Eze ome ogo), the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, will be felt in all the communities in the council by the grace of God.

The team were warmly received and entertained by the communities as the aim of the visit was communicated to them. Meanwhile, they furnished the team with their challenges at the centers, which were duly noted, and proper action by the Council to commence without hesitation in a very short time.

The Council Chairman of Awgu LGA, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo "Ezeomeogo"  and his retinue of aides paid Courtesy Visit to the former governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Sullivan Chime.   He was in company of his House of Assembly member representing him at the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Anthony Nwankwo "Okwadike" who was accompanied by his PAs, his friend Hon. Paul Okereafor and other of his allies. This was immediately after the reception organised in honour of our dear Commissioners. Ezeomeogo acknowledged His Excellency Sullivan Chime for the support he is given the governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and other leaders in the State.
