*#AWGU #COVID-19 #SENSITIZATION* *THE WIFE OF AWGU LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN, MRS. UCHENNA NWANKWO AND UGO TOUCH OF LIFE FOUNDATION (U-TOLF) COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN TOUR IN AWGU LG.* *[DAY-4]* *23/07/2020*




The wife of Awgu Local Government Chairman, Mrs. Uchenna Nwankwo and Ugo Touch Of Life Foundation (U-TOLF), an NGO set up by Her Excellence, the wife of the Governor, Mrs Monica Ugwuanyi Ugochi today embarked on awareness campaigns across Awgu Local Government Area to enlighten the people on how to prevent transmission of the deadly disease COVID-19.  



In the sensitization exercise, U-TOLF group partnered with the Health Department team of Awgu LG and some other selected members from different wards in the council. 



Three wards in Awgu LG visited today, Orie Awgu Market in Awgu Ward (1) one, Onoli Awgu in Awgu Ward 2 and Eke mgbowo in Mgbowo Ward. 




The people where enlightened about Coronavirus which are a large family of germs which may cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. 


Some of the Precautions include:
Wearing of face mask, properly washing of hands, observing social distancing, avoiding of handshake and hugging, etc.
